Evolution Media ups Alex Baskin to partner

The Real Housewives of Orange County prodco Evolution Media has promoted Alex Baskin to partner, and upped Rob Carroll to VP of current.

In his new role, Baskin joins CEO Douglas Ross and chief financial officer Gregory B. Stewart as partner, while continuing to serve as executive VP of programming and development. The exec will also continue to oversee the prodco’s development team and have creative oversight for all Evolution productions.

Baskin joined Evolution in 2006 and has served as executive producer on more than 30 series, specials and pilots. His credits include Beverly Hills Nannies (ABC Family), High School Confidential (WE tv) and Growing Up Twisted (A&E).

Elsewhere, Carroll – who is to report to Baskin, as will VP of development Sara Hansemann - will manage the California-based prodco’s current slate. Previously, he served as a freelance producer for such Evolution series as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Orange County and Botched.

His other credits include The Private Lives of Nashville Wives (TNT), Tamra’s OC Wedding (Bravo), The Real World (MTV) and eight seasons of Real World/Road Rules Challenge (MTV).

Evolution’s The Real Housewives of Orange County will debut its 10th season on June 9.
