Dating Naked prodco Lighthearted Entertainment has upped former development producer Mark Neal (pictured) to director of current programming.

After boarding the California-based prodco in January 2014, Neal helped in the creation of Labor Games (TLC), Dating Naked (VH1) and Twinning (VH1).

The exec got his start in the industry casting shows such as America’s Next Top Model and The Real Housewives of Orange County (Bravo), and later moved on to produce programs including Billy the Exterminator (A&E) and Undercover Boss (CBS).

In his new role, Neal will be tasked with overseeing all current Lighthearted productions in addition to contributing to the overall creative process. He will report to co-executive VPs Rob LaPlante and Jeff Spangler.
