Screaming Flea boosts development team

Seattle’s Screaming Flea Productions has expanded its development team with two executive hires.

Spike TV’s Tony Nguyen (pictured, left) has joined the Hoarders: Family Secrets producer as senior director of development, while producer Jason Brewer (right) has joined as director of development.

Nguyen spent the past six years working in the development department at Viacom-owned cable net Spike TV. His credits include Cops, Auction Hunters and Tattoo Nightmares. Prior to that, he was at Creative Artists Agency.

Brewer most recently helmed the HGTV and DIY show Kitchen Crashers. His other unscripted credits include Hoarders, Rachel Ray and Blood & Oil, as well as projects for Warrior Poets, Cineflix and PBS.
