Networks in Central Europe, Scandinavia and Australia have acquired the latest offering from British presenter Kevin McCloud and All3Media-owned distributor Optomen International.

The 4 x 60-minute Kevin McCloud: Escape to the Wild, originally commissioned by Channel 4, will be carried by Foxtel and ABC (Australia), SBS Discovery Networks (Norway), TV2 (Denmark), Ananey (Israel) and Spektrum (Central Europe).

Over four episodes, McCloud will embark on a journey across the world to tell stories of people who have abandoned bustling cities for an isolated lifestyle in some of the most remote places on Earth.

Escape To The Wild¬†will resonate with audiences worldwide, as Kevin gets to the heart of the ultimate contemporary fantasy by posing the question: what does it take to build an idyllic life in a remote part of the world and genuinely make this work for you and your loved ones?” said Caroline Stephenson, director of sales for Optomen International, in a statement.

Kevin McCloud: Escape to the Wild made its UK premiere on Channel 4 on June 8.
