Investigation Discovery is set to premiere The Hunt for Ted Bundy, a documentary serving as a companion piece to the U.S. cable net’s first scripted miniseries Serial Thriller: Angel of Decay.

The Hunt for Ted Bundy will feature rare archival footage, behind-the-scenes testimonies, case materials, letters and keepsakes from former detectives Kathy McChesney and Robert Keppel, both of whom were involved in the investigation that ultimately brought down Ted Bundy – the subject of ID’s first scripted drama – in 1975.

Ted Bundy, one of America’s most infamous serial killers, was responsible for a string of murders of women in the Pacific Northwest from 1974 to 1978.

The final chapter for the three-part scripted miniseries airs June 9 at 10 p.m. EST/PST on Investigation Discovery, while The Hunt for Ted Bundy will debut June 14 at 9 p.m. EST/PST.
