UK broadcaster ITV has ordered the unscripted series Flockstars, which will feature eight celebrities in an eight-week herding challenge.

Produced by Liberty Bell Productions for ITV and hosted by Splash!‘s Gabby Logan (pictured), the series will showcase the eight personalities, all having trained for six weeks in sheepdog trialing, as they lead their border collies through a set of challenging courses while herding flocks of sheep, ducks and geese. The knockout-round style of competition will see teams vying each week for the Flockstars Champion Shield.

The eight celebs include DJ Tony Blackburn, R&B musician Kelle Bryan, Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole, Richard Rawson (aka Fazer) from British hip-hop group N-Dubz, actress Lesley Joseph, property presenter Amanda Lamb, 10-time paralympian gold medalist Lee Pearson, and Coronation Street‘s Wendi Peters.

A broadcast date has not yet been announced.
