U.S. net Animal Planet is documenting the duties of a Denver-based veterinarian in its forthcoming 10-part series, Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet.

Dr. Jeff Young caters to more than 8,000 clients and their pets at his Planned Pethood Plus clinic. The DoubleAct-produced series follows the ER veterinarian – who has more than 25 years of experience and leads a team of 30 vet experts – on some of the routine check-ups and emergencies he encounters each day.

The program will also accompany Dr. Young as he makes the rounds with his mobile clinic, visiting farm and ranch animals in far-reaching communities and reservations within Colorado that can’t easily access veterinary care.

Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet premieres on July 11 at 10 p.m. EST/PST.

For Animal Planet, Lisa Lucas serves as executive producer, while Patrick Keegan is producer. For DoubleAct, Alastair Cook is exec producing, and Alexander Marengo is series producer.
