Endemol Shine names Williams as COO, int’l operations

Marina Williams, formerly the company's CEO for Central and Eastern Europe and MENA regions, will oversee operations in those territories as well as India and all of Africa.

Endemol Shine Group has appointed Marina Williams as its chief operating officer of international operations.

Williams, who previously worked as the company’s CEO for Central and Eastern Europe and MENA regions, will oversee operations in those territories as well as India and all of Africa.

She will work with the heads of local companies in each market as well as lead regional sales and licensing teams. Williams reports to CEO of international operations Martha Brass.

“The markets under her remit are essential to our continued growth and her leadership and experience will be enormously valuable to our global business,” Brass said in a statement.

Before she joined Endemol in 2008, Williams worked for the Management Board of Central European Media Enterprises, Fox International Channels, Fox Kids and Turner International Channels.

In related news, the global producer/distributor’s North American division has bolstered its brand partnerships, research and social media teams.

Tamaya Petteway, formerly with Universal Music Group, has joined the company as SVP of brand integrations and partnerships; Marisa Hammonds, most recently director of digital for Shine America, is now the North American VP of digital and social media; Kevin Ivey, also previously with Shine America, is now VP for research and insights; and Kelia Tardiff, who previously held roles in creative affairs and reality development for the company, has been appointed VP for brand partnerships.
