FMLA’s head of development Constanza Cagliolo will work with Regil and his company RGL Entertainment on concepts aimed at mainstream and niche audiences on digital and emerging platforms.

Regil and his company are best known for producing the Mexican versions of The Price Is Right, Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? and Dancing with the Stars. He has also hosted the Mexican and U.S. Hispanic versions of Family Feud and the U.S. Hispanic version of Minute to Win It, which was the debut program on U.S. net MundoFox.

“I am thrilled to take our long-time association with FremantleMedia to next levels of success,” Regil said in a statement. “The time is right for us to formalize our working relationship towards the development of new and exciting projects for television and all other mediums including digital.”
