C4 picks up “Celebrity Fifteen To One” specials

UK pubcaster Channel 4 has ordered four celebrity quiz show specials from Argonon-owned Remedy Productions.

Hosted by Australian comedian Adam Hills (pictured), Celebrity Fifteen to One - a star-studded version of the iconic quiz show Fifteen to One - is to showcase 15 celebrities from the worlds of comedy, entertainment, sports and music as they battle through three rounds of questions for the chance to win a grand prize for charity.

The four episodes – licensed from Fifteen to One distributor DRG - will feature a variety of celebrities, including English comedian and actor Sean Lock, EastEnders actor Natalie Cassidy, TV presenter Amanda Lamb, Italian choreographer Bruno Tonioli, former tennis player Greg Rusedski, politician Ken Livingstone, parliamentarian Tanni Grey-Thompson, and singer-songwriter Tony Hadley.

Celebrity Fifteen to One, which will air later this summer, is exec produced by Julie Kelling and series produced by Laura Turner for Remedy Productions.

The specials were commissioned by Channel 4′s entertainment team and will be handled by Ed de Burgh, commissioning editor for entertainment.
