In this week’s round-up, new series are set to premiere for a range of networks including TLC, Discovery Family Channel, E! and Syfy.

U.S. broadcaster TLC is readying its Roma Downey-hosted docuseries Answered Prayers for a July 26 debut at 10 p.m. EST/PST. The 6 x 60-minute series blends recreations with interviews and original footage of life-threatening situations, all of which resulted in miraculous outcomes.

The LightWorkers Media-produced series is to recount such true stories as a young boy’s survival after being trapped under 11 feet of sand for hours, a pastor living through a stabbing that inflicted 37 wounds, and a family that escapes death when its car plunges upside down into an icy river bank.

Elsewhere, E!’s latest celebrity-based docuseries Stewarts & Hamiltons  (pictured) will air across the entertainment network on July 26 at 9 p.m. EST/PST.

The 8 x 60-minute series will look to explore the daily lives of musician Rod Stewart and author Alana Stewart’s children: Kimberly and Sean Stewart. The Bunim/Murray Productions-made series will also showcase a supporting cast that includes Alana’s ex-husband George Hamilton and his sons Ashley and George Jr., as well as Ruby Stewart, Rod’s daughter from his relationship with model Kelly Emberg.

Meanwhile, Discovery Family Channel will premiere its canine-themed series From Wags to Riches with Bill Berloni this August. The network’s first original series, set to bow on August 6 at 9 p.m. EST/PST, takes an in-depth look at the private life of award-winning animal trainer Bill Berloni as he transforms shelter pups into trained on-stage stars. The 4 x 60-minute series is produced by Earth Touch USA.

Finally, American cable net Syfy will launch its Silicon Valley-focused docuseries The Bazillion Dollar Club this September. The 6 x 60-minute series is to follow tech industry venture capitalists Dave McClure and Brady Forrest, whose companies offer two of the world’s most aggressive accelerator programs mentoring and investing in tech start-ups from concept to product launch. The Zero Point Zero Production-made series will air on September 22 at 10 p.m. EST/PST.
