Netflix’s forthcoming four-part docuseries Chelsea Does, starring American comedian Chelsea Handler (pictured, left), has enlisted Oscar-winning director Morgan Neville (right) as executive producer.

The previously announced series for the VoD service sees Handler diving into a variety of topics, including marriage, traveling to Alabama to confront racism, the tech industry of Silicon Valley, and journeying to Peru to consume the psychoactive beverage ayahuasca, made from a South American vine.

The series is directed by Oscar-nominated Eddie Schmidt, and exec produced by 20 Feet from Stardom director Neville and Handler.

The online streaming service will also debut Neville’s latest documentary Keith Richards: Under the Influence, chronicling Keith Richards’ musical influences, on September 18.

Chelsea Does will launch across Netflix, and will be available globally upon release in all territories where Netflix is available.
