The hypnotic game show format You’re Back In the Room (pictured) is headed to broadcasters in France and the Netherlands.

BBC Worldwide has sold the Tuesday’s Child-produced format to French network W9 and Dutch network RTL, to be produced by BBC Worldwide France and FremantleMedia-owned Blue Circle, respectively.

The agreement marks the first international deals for the Phillip Schofield-hosted game show format, which debuted in March across Britain’s ITV and Ireland’s TV3. ITV recently announced that the 4 x 60-minute series, which finds a group of hypnotized strangers competing in various games for a cash prize, will return to the network for a second season.

The deal also marks the first commission for BBC Worldwide France from DTT channel W9, where the series will be titled Hypnose, Le Grand Jeu.

“We are delighted that BBC Worldwide France and Blue Circle will be producing our first international sales of You’re Back in the Room and we hope to announce further territories soon,” said Kate Philips, creative director of formats for BBC Worldwide, in a statement.
