Discovery Family Channel preps “Behaving Badly”

U.S. net Discovery Family Channel has marked autumn premiere dates for two series highlighting the comical side of animals and babies.

The pair of series produced by UK indie Barcroft Productions includes the 30-minute program Babies Behaving Badly (pictured), which is to explore the wild side of infants and the highs and lows of parenthood through user-generated content and colorful commentary from comedians.

Meanwhile, the 30-minute sister series Beasts Behaving Badly will shadow animals causing chaos for the people around them, including a bear that cools off in a neighborhood swimming pool as well as a kitchen-invading raccoon.

Sam Barcroft and Julian Thomas serve as executive producers for Barcroft Productions, while Discovery Family Channel’s Liam Monschein is supervising producer.

Discovery Family Channel is to air Babies Behaving Badly on September 4 at 8 p.m. EST/PST, while Beasts Behaving Badly will bow on October 1 at 8 p.m. EST/PST.
