Gurney, ThunderPants ink overall deal

Duck Dynasty producer Gurney Productions has inked an overall deal with executive producers Rob Worsoff (pictured, left) and Brian Wendel (right) and their LA-based label ThunderPants Productions.

The deal is to see the showrunners developing film and television projects for Gurney.

Worsoff and Wendel’s producing credits include programming for National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, A&E, MTV, Bravo, VH1 and CBS. The pair previously co-founded Schweet Entertainment with Jack Osbourne in 2011, and went on to form ThunderPants last November.

In addition, Worsoff served as co-executive producer at Gurney Productions, assisting in the launch of Spike’s Auction Hunters and A&E’s Duck Dynasty. He also launched CW’s Shedding For The Wedding and ABC Family’s The Vineyard as co-executive producer for 25/7 Productions.

ThunderPants is represented by Gordon Hvolka and Ryan Wackerman of agency ICM Partners, and Bob Lange and Uri Fleming of entertainment law firm Kleinberg Lange.
