U.S. net Oxygen Media is to follow the “fierce and fit” women of the American all-female Legends Football League in the forthcoming docuseries Pretty. Strong. (pictured).

The program follows eight players on the Chicago Bliss football team – which has twice won the league’s championship title – as they navigate life on and off the field. The group of women all have full-time careers as dentists, lawyers, receptionists and caregivers by day, and play 7-on-7 tackle football by night with the goal of winning “the coveted three-peat championship title.”

Pretty. Strong. debuts on October 6 at 10 p.m. EST. The program is produced by Relativity Television and Ellen Rakieten Entertainment, with Tom Forman, Brad Bishop and Ellen Rakieten serving as executive producers.

In addition to the series, fans of the program can participate in the eight-week “Pretty. Strong. Get Fit Challenge,” which includes beginner and advanced workout videos by Chicago Bliss players on Oxygen.com.
