A+E Networks’ LMN has upped Laura Fleury from VP of development and programming to SVP.

The longtime A+E Networks exec, who previously held roles at flagship network A&E prior to joining LMN in 2013, will continue to report to Jana Bennett, president of FYI and LMN and will continue to establish the unscripted and scripted programming and development strategy for the female-skewing network.

She will also act as a consultant on crime and justice programming for A&E, where she had developed and exec produced such series as Beyond Scared Straight  and The First 48 franchise, among other projects.

Fleury’s credits for LMN thus far include Monster in My Family, Escaping Polygamy, and My Uncle is the Green River Killer, among others.

“Laura is a skilled executive who has already built an impressive track record of significant accomplishments at LMN,” said Bennett in a statement. “Her powerful programming slate has led to significant audience growth for the network resulting in LMN’s placement among the top 25 networks for women.”
