UK pubcaster Channel 4 has ordered the bridal format All Hail the Veil from Say Yes to the Dress producer Half Yard Productions.

The original 3 x 60-minute series created specifically for C4 is to spotlight one bride-to-be as she visits three separate salons in search of “the dress of her dreams.” The series will follow bargain shoppers, fashionistas and high-end couture buyers as they rummage through the racks for gowns of every price and style, with experts weighing in on each appointment.

Each episode will culminate with the bride providing a surprise reveal of her choice in front of friends and family. All Hail the Veil has not yet received an air date but C4 says the format is “coming soon.”

Half Yard produces a roster of bridal series for U.S. net TLC, including the long-running Say Yes to the Dress as well as Brides Got Styled and Curvy Brides.

“This is a really fun new bridal format for the UK and a great addition to Channel 4′s daytime slate,” David Sayer, head of daytime for Channel 4, said in a statement. “With no end of options of bridal gowns out there, the series will capture all the emotions and dramas of finding that perfect dress.”
