FremantleMedia acquires “Lords & Ladles” format

FremantleMedia has picked up the global format rights to lifestyle series Lords & Ladles from Irish indie Mind the Gap Films.

FremantleMedia has picked up the worldwide format and tape rights to Irish indie Mind the Gap Films’ Lords & Ladles.

The lifestyle series follows three chefs as they recreate elaborate feasts in historic grand manor homes across Ireland. The chefs draw straws to see who will take charge of the meal, who will have to gather ingredients and who will dine alongside the guests.

The show debuted on Irish broadcaster RTE1 earlier this summer.

Last week, the global producer/distributor inked a deal with Danish indie Skylark  to develop entertainment formats for the international market out of the company’s production hub in Copenhagen.
