Warner Bros. International Television Production has acquired the worldwide TV rights excluding Asia for the recently launched game show Chef In Your Ear (pictured).
Originally produced for Food Network Canada by The Format People, Chef In Your Ear sees two celebrity chefs feed recipe instructions for a restaurant-quality dish to two amateur cooks through an earpiece. The professional chefs are unable to smell or taste the food, locked in a soundproof booth, and their novice partners must create the dishes based on their instructions alone.
The 26-episode format premiered in August for Food Network Canada and will launch globally at next week’s MIPCOM market.
The Food Network debut coincided with Ici Radio-Canada Télé’s launch of the 350 Productions-made series Un Chef À L’orville for French-speaking Canada.
