David Attenborough’s Natural History Museum Alive 3D (pictured) led the way at the 13th biennial Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival, taking home three awards.

The BAFTA winning documentary, which was filmed at the Natural History Museum in London using CGI imagery to bring to life the extinct skeletons within the museum, claimed the Best Hosted or Presenter-led Program and Best Original Musical Score honors for composer Ilan Eshkeri, while the doc’s app took home the Best Interactive Media prize.

Also picking up multiple Jackson Hole awards were Elwafilm’s Return of the River, which received the Marian Zunz Newcomer and Emerging Conservation Wildlife Leader awards; Wild Yellowstone – Frozen Frontier from Brain Farm Digital Cinema, which won Best Cinematography and Best Editing; and Shining Red Productions’ E.O. Wilson—Of Ants and Men, which walked away with Best Writing and Conservation Hero.

The awards are part of a five-day industry conference, taking place between September 28 and October 2. It attracts leading filmmakers, organizations, scientists, broadcasters and visionaries engaged in conservation and wildlife media.

A panel of distinguished judges selected this year’s winners from upwards of nearly 1,000 entries across 23 awards categories. The awards were handed out during a gala ceremony at the Grand Teton Awards Gala on Thursday night (October 1).
