French distributor KABO International has acquired international rights for the entertainment format Best Host Ever a.k.a. Le Grand Tralala.

Created by Paris-based R&G Productions, the format first debuted on France 2 in 2000 and was also produced in Spain. KABO will relaunch the format, which requires presenters to host a show without knowing the content or being given any direction. They must conduct interviews, introduce variety acts and host a game show.

The original version featured French celebrities as well as international stars such as Jennifer Lopez.

KABO, which is the distribution arm of producer KABO Family, also recently acquired global distribution rights to game show format Who’s Who from the UK’s Rose Bay Media.
