UK pubcaster Channel 4 is opening a corporate office in Manchester that will serve as a hub for the company’s commercial, creative and industry partners.

The offices will be home to the channel’s expanding regional sales team, led by agency principal Ewan Douglas. The new space will be made available to Channel 4′s growth fund indies and its production, creative, commercial and third-party sales partners, as well as the Channel 4 board, commissioning, creative diversity and All 4 Games teams.

The Manchester office now brings the pubcaster’s regional office count to four, with additional offices in Glasgow – where the creative diversity and All 4 Games teams are headquartered – and sales offices in Belfast and Dublin.

“The new Manchester hub demonstrates Channel 4′s continued commitment to developing even stronger relationships with regional creative and media companies, and supporting smaller businesses as they grow,” said Channel 4′s chief executive David Abraham  (pictured) in a statement.
