The makers of Naked and Afraid are producing another survival series that will explore gender dynamics – but with clothes on.

Men Women Wild  is a six-episode series that follows three survivalist couples as they spend three weeks living off the land in harsh terrain.

The show, which is produced by Renegade 83, will premiere on Discovery Channel on November 11 at 10 p.m. EST/PST.

Discovery Channel in 2010 aired the survival series Man Woman Wild, which was also produced by Renegade 83. But unlike the three couples featured in Men Women Wild, that show only featured Mykel Hawke and his wife Ruth England testing their survival skills in harsh conditions around the world.

The couples featured in the new series include a husband and wife, a boyfriend and girlfriend and a mother and father, with each pair dropped off in the desert mountains of Morocco, the fjords of Norway, and the jungle of Southern Mexico.

Whether highly trained military personnel or self-taught primitive survivalists, each couple’s unique skill set and experience will be challenged in order for them to survive,” the network said in a statement. “In the process, they will be faced with the same tough question: Do they truly have each other’s back, and when the going gets tough, are they stronger together or better off apart?”

Executive producers on the series are Renegade 83′s Jay Renfroe, David Garfinkle and Johnny Petillo. Steve Rankin is a consulting executive producer and David Kirkwood is co-exec producing for Renegade 83. Joseph Boyle and Brad Blondheim are exec producing for Discovery.
