Scripps Networks Interactive-owned HGTV has greenlit four original real estate and property titles slated to air across the network in 2016.

Due to premiere in January 2016, the Left/Right Productions-made Mexico Life (4 x 30 minutes) is set to follow homebuyers as they search for their private oceanside paradise in the Tierra Azteca. The half-hour episodes are to feature beachfront properties along the Mexican coastlines from Tulum to Puerto Vallarta.

A. Smith & Co. is producing Container Homes (5 x 30 minutes), in which repurposed steel shipping containers are transformed into contemporary eco-friendly living spaces. The five-episode order will shadow a homeowner as they customize their container home using unique architectural elements, lighting and materials. The show is expected to debut in March 2016.

Elsewhere, Vintage Flip (8 x 30 minutes) will follow the enterprising and creative couple of Jessie and Tina Rodriguez (pictured) as they locate, restore and flip vintage homes. The series is produced by Pie Town Productions and is expected to air in June 2016.

The final new commission is Fly on the Wall Entertainment’s Build Small, Live Anywhere (4 x 30 minutes). With a 2016 premiere date yet to be determined, the series will see real estate and design experts Todd and Gena Davis help families find, purchase and renovate small beachfront bungalow-style homes in their ideal locales.
