Eclipse Television has acquired Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County (pictured) producer Go Go Luckey Entertainment.

The transaction marks the first phase in a mergers and acquisitions strategy for Eclipse TV – a joint venture between Kilburn Media and Demarest Films – as it extends its reach in television production.

Go Go Luckey has produced a raft of hit programming, including A&E’s Paranormal State and Fear: Buried Alive, Lifetime’s The Jacksons: Next Generation and History’s The Unexplained.

The prodco’s management team of Julie Auerbach, Henry Capanna, Tina Gazzerro-Clapp and Dennis Principe will remain with the company.

William D. Johnson, CEO of Demarest Films, said in a statement that the company’s aim has always been to grow Eclipse “organically and via acquisition” into a television powerhouse.
