Bravo, Oxygen prep “Housewives of Cheshire,” “Like a Boss”

NBCUniversal-owned network Oxygen Media has ordered the celebrity assistant docuseries Like A Boss, while Bravo Media has acquired The Real Housewives of Cheshire (pictured).

NBCUniversal-owned network Oxygen Media has lined up the celebrity assistant docuseries Like a Boss for a winter 2016 debut.

A copro between Evolution Media and Nick Cannon‘s NCredible Entertainment, the series is set to chronicle the lives of four motivated assistants as they look to match the successes of their respective superiors while struggling to separate their professional and personal lives.

The series will feature Amber Grimes, assistant to actor, TV personality and producer Nick Cannon; Devin Simpson, assistant to realtor Blair Myers; Rian Parish, assistant to radio and TV personality Big Tigger; and Drekia Glenn, assistant to Def Jam Records exec Abou “Bu” Thiam.

Douglas Ross, Alex Baskin, Greg Stewart and Jason Sands serve as executive producers for Evolution Media, with Cannon and Michael Goldman exec producing for NCredible Entertainment.

Like A Boss is slated to air on January 19 at 9 p.m. EST/PST on Oxygen.

Meanwhile, sister network Bravo Media has acquired of The Real Housewives of Cheshire (pictured) from NBCUniversal International Television Production arm Monkey.

The 10-part series follows the lives and drama of six posh British women – Tanya Bardsley, Leanne Brown, Magali Gorré, Ampika Pickston, Lauren Simon and Dawn Ward – at the center of the wealthy northwestern county’s most exclusive social circle.

The series - initially developed for UK broadcaster ITVBe – will be distributed in the U.S. by NBCUniversal International Distribution.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire premieres November 14 at 12 p.m. EST/PST on Bravo Media.
