NBC Entertainment has promoted George Sealey to senior VP of alternative programming and development.
The reality exec joined the network in 2012 as vice president. His unscripted credits include Fashion Star and he oversees Running Wild with Bear Grylls, The Biggest Loser and The Celebrity Apprentice.
Prior to joining the network, he was a freelancer and served as a producer for eight seasons on The Apprentice.
“George has both a great appreciation for what viewers want to see and a terrific skill set in producing compelling television,” said Meredith Ahr, executive VP of alternative programming, in a statement. “His dedication and leadership make every show he’s associated with better. His ability to be creative, collaborative and forward-thinking make him a key member of our team as we evolve the genre forward.”
