In this week’s round-up, new seasons are on the way for series from Investigation Discovery, E!, and MTV.
ID’s Momsters: When Moms Go Bad, hosted by Roseanne Barr (pictured), returns on “Black Friday” in the U.S., November 27. During its run in 2014, the series – which features “darkly humorous stories and shocking crimes committed by mothers” – ranked as the Discovery Communications-owned net’s top series in the fourth quarter. The new season will feature eight 30-minute episodes. Momsters is produced by Sharp Entertainment for ID.
MTV will bring back its matchmaking experiment series, Are You the One? , for a fourth season next year, as its third season wraps on November 18 with a two-hour finale. The series, from Lighthearted Entertainment, follows a group of 10 single men and 10 single women who undergo a “rigorous matchmaking process” involving psychologists and “professional matchmakers” in order to find their perfect partners, but aren’t informed of the results. The teams are then sent to an island destination to find their matches themselves, but if the results don’t correspond with the findings of the pros, they stand to lost out on a big cash prize.
The Kardashian clan returns to E! with an 11th season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians on Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. EST/PST. The upcoming season, according to E!, will include “a revealing look into Kourtney’s relationship with Scott, Kris’ budding May-December romance with Corey, and a lavish family beach vacation.”
