“Liquidator” lands European, LatAm deals

Picture Box Distribution has sold the Canadian reality series to Sport1 in Germany, RMC Decouverte in France and A&E Networks Latin America.

Canadian reality series The Liquidator is headed to Germany, France and Latin America.

Picture Box Distribution has sold the 91 x 30-minute series to Sport1 in Germany, RMC Decouverte in France and A&E Networks Latin America.

Originally produced by Anaid Productions for Rogers-owned cable net OLN, the show follows Jeff Schwarz, the owner of a liquidation business in Burnaby, British Columbia, as he buys and sells discarded and unwanted merchandise.

Other networks to pick up the show include Discovery Networks International, A&E Australia, Z Tele in French Canada and Choice TV in New Zealand.

OLN is in the midst of airing a fourth season of The Liquidator in Canada.
