Keshet Productions exec joins Lion TV

Simon Shalgosky has left Keshet Productions UK to join London-based producer Lion TV in the newly created position of head of entertainment development.

Simon Shalgosky (pictured) has joined London-based producer Lion TV in the newly created position of head of entertainment development, a rep for Lion TV has confirmed to realscreen.

The move comes less than a year after Shalgosky joined the UK production arm of Keshet International as head of development for non-scripted. Prior to that, he was head of development for ITV Studios-owned producer Shiver.

“Simon has over a decade’s experience of development,” said Lion TV managing director Richard Bradley in a statement. “In that time he has built up an enviable track record for creating entertainment and fact-ent formats which have sold both domestically and internationally. Simon is joining Lion at an exciting time as we look to step up our investment across entertainment.”

While at ITV, Shalgosky developed entertainment, factual and factual entertainment programs such as Britain’s Best DishCome Date with MeSecrets from the Sky and The Man with Many Wives.

Lion TV’s unscripted credits include Britain From Above, Underground Britain and Homes Under the Hammer.
