Atlantic sends Attenborough titles across Europe, Asia

Networks across Europe and Asia have picked up several David Attenborough-fronted wildlife specials, including Flying Monsters (pictured), from UK indie Atlantic Productions.

UK indie Atlantic Productions has sold several David Attenborough-fronted wildlife specials to networks in Europe and Asia.

PTS Taiwan, RUV Iceland, TVB Hong Kong and VRT Belgium have picked up Flying Monsters (pictured), which looks at the lives of pterosaurs, while Germany’s Polyband TV has acquired Kingdom Of Plants (3 x 50 minutes) and Galapagos (3 x 50 minutes).

Elsewhere, France TV, TVB Hong Kong, PTS Taiwan, YLE Finland, RUV Iceland, RTL GEO, DR Denmark, VRT Belgium and Servus TV in Austria acquired David Attenborough’s Conquest of the Skies (4 x 50 minutes), which examines the evolution of flight in animals.

Finally, YLE Finland, RUV Iceland and VRT Belgium also picked up David Attenborough’s Rise of the Animals: Triumph of the Vertebrates (2 x 50 minutes), a documentary about the evolution of vertebrates.
