Author and “peak performance strategist” Tony Robbins is the focus of Joe Berlinger’s 12th feature documentary, set to bow at SXSW in March.

The Austin, Texas-based festival today revealed a handful of its film line-up, including the world premieres of Berlinger’s Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru (pictured) and Irene Taylor Brodsky‘s Beware the Slenderman.

Berlinger delves behind the scenes of Robbins’ annual “Date With Destiny” seminar, which is attended by more than 2,500 people.

“This film is an emotional tour de force, pulling back the curtain on Tony Robbins and unveiling the inner-workings of this life-altering and controversial event, the zealous participants and the man himself,” reads a synopsis provided by SXSW.

The Paradise Lost director’s last feature doc was Whitey: United States of America v. James J. Bulger.

SXSW also sees the world premiere of The Final Inch director Brodsky’s feature effort.

Beware the Slenderman follows the 2014 case of two 12-year-old girls who stabbed their friend multiple times in service of a fictional man known online as Slenderman. The doc is shot over 18 months, with access to the girls’ families.

The SXSW Film Conference runs from March 11 to 19. The festival’s full line-up is to be announced in early February.
