Leftfield Pictures is partnering with actor La La Anthony and Grammy-winning producer Timbaland for an original docuseries on Face Time Agency, a New York-based hip-hop fashion model casting group.

The as-yet-untitled series – which is still in development – is to provide an insider’s look into the business side of New York City’s hip-hop scene as models, DJs and social media stars attempt to rise to the top of their respected media industries.

The docuseries will follow such Face Time Agency models as Amina Blue, Bernice Burgos and Kyra Chaos as they leverage their industry connections and millions of social media followers to establish and propel their empires – from fashion and beauty to tech. Face Time Agency CEO Session Cruz and co-founder Jeff Janvier will mentor the ambitious entertainment moguls.

Leftfield Pictures’ David George and Will Nothacker serve as executive producers on the docuseries alongside Anthony and Derek Gordon. Timbaland is listed as executive music producer.

New York-headquartered music agency Jingle Punks – which recently inked a partnership with Timbaland – is also attached to the project, via their deal with the hip-hop producer.

Anthony and Face Time Agency, whose clients include Drake, Kanye West and Robin Thicke, are represented by UTA.
