Travel Channel names VP, programming

Former Zodiak New York exec Neil Regan (pictured) has been appointed VP of programming at Scripps Networks Interactive-owned net Travel Channel.

In his new post, Regan will be charged with overseeing the development and production of programming for the travel and leisure channel. He will report to Courtney White, who was recently elevated to senior VP of programming.

Most recently, Regan served as senior VP of current programming and development at Zodiak New York, where he developed and managed projects while overseeing the company’s programming slate.

His production credits include ABC’s Wife Swap, HGTV’s Hawaii Life and Hidden Potential, Food Network’s The Next Food Network Star, Doorknock Dinners and Follow That Food, and Discovery Channel’s Punkin’¬†Chunkin’.

Regan previously served as showrunner for such prodcos as Left/Right, Sharp Entertainment, True Entertainment and Atlas Media.
