Exclusive: Magilla promotes Jason Fox

New York-based indie Magilla Entertainment has elevated GM Jason Fox (pictured) to company president.

Fox, who first joined the company in 2013, will continue to report to partners Laura Palumbo Johnson and Matthew Ostrom.

Magilla’s production credits include Discovery’s Moonshiners and Diesel Brothers, TLC’s Long Island Medium and Rattled, and HGTV’s Lakefront Bargain Hunt.

“Jason Fox has been instrumental in all phases of Magilla’s six years of consecutive growth, from agent to GM and now as president,” said Johnson and Ostrom in a joint statement. “This promotion is well deserved and we are confident that Jason will successfully help guide Magilla Entertainment through its next chapter, as we are just getting started.”

Magilla has also promoted a wave of personnel including Sean Lee to senior VP of current and development; Josh Abrahamson to VP in charge of development; Dominick Pupa to VP of current production; Courtney Maglione to VP of talent; Noah Danoff to VP of development; Sabine Kertscher to VP of post-production; and Chris Potocki to concept commander.
