Digital producer/distributor Endemol Beyond is launching the online lifestyle network Icon in the German market under the banner FLiP.
Through a partnership with Viacom International Media Networks in Germany and fashion retail brand ASOS, the local version will launch on YouTube, and a televised spin-off – also called FLiP – Powered by ICON – will premiere on Nicknight today (February 19).
The TV version marks Icon’s first TV adaptation since the Michelle Phan-led (pictured) online lifestyle network went live in the U.S. and UK last March. It has since been adapted locally in 16 markets.
The TV show will feature content broadcast on the FLiP YouTube channel from German market influencers, as well as content seen on the Nicknight YouTube channel, in addition to exclusive original content.
