The new appointees will now join board chair John Hardie, CEO of ITN.

Elsewhere, the RTS has presented a raft of fellowships to individuals recognized for exceptional contributions to the industry.
The Society’s new fellows include Alastair Fothergill, founder of Silverback Films; Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert; John McVay, CEO of Pact; Charlotte Moore, BBC controller of TV channels and iPlayer; Stuart Murphy, former director of entertainment channels at Sky; television director John Watts; and award-winning writers Kay Mellor and Sally Wainwright.
The RTS appointed its VPs in 2015, tapping David Abraham, CEO of Channel 4; Adam Crozier, CEO of ITV; Tony Hall, director general of BBC; Gavin Patterson, CEO of BT Group; Ian Jones, CEO of S4C; broadcaster Melvyn Bragg; director Armando Iannucci; and anti-racism campaigner Doreen Lawrence.
