British multi-channel broadcaster UKTV has ordered the fact-ent confession format I’ve Got Something to Tell You from London-based producer Zig Zag Productions.

The 6 x 60-minute series, which will air across pay-TV channel W, will take audiences to an English country retreat as host Amanda Holden (pictured) offers support to ordinary individuals expected to reveal life-altering confessions to friends, families and loved ones over dinner and drinks.

Zig Zag and UKTV will jointly own the rights for the series, while Zig Zag will retain the rights to produce a U.S. adaptation of the format. The companies will together appoint an international distributor.

Zig Zag’s Danny Fenton and Sharon Powers serve as executive producers alongside UKTV’s deputy director of commissioning Hilary Rosen, who also commissioned the series. Steve North, GM for W, ordered the program.

I’ve Got Something to Tell You follows a wave of domestic and international orders for the English producer. Recent commissions include the stunt-special Arnie’s 50 Greatest Ever Stunts and music-based quiz show Blink, both for Channel 4; factual series Opportunity Africa for Bloomberg Television; and millionaire dating show Money Can Buy Your Love for RTÉ2.

“This is a brand new take on the fixed rig reality genre and we’re looking forward to showcasing it to the international market at MIPTV this year,” said Danny Fenton, CEO of Zig Zag Productions, in a statement.
