Paris-based distributor Zed has inked a raft of pre-sales for David Korn-Brzoza’s history documentary After Hitler (pictured) to broadcasters across Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East and Canada.

Produced by Cinétévé, the 2 x 45-minute doc features remastered and recolored archives that provide an in-depth look at Europe in the five years immediately following WWII. The film is scheduled to air across France 2 this May to commemorate the end of the war.

The doc, which enjoys its world premiere at the MIPDOC conference in Cannes next month, has been pre-sold to Germany’s N24, Italy’s Rai, Norway’s NRK, Spain’s RTVE, Discovery Networks Europe, Quebec’s TV5, Blue Ant Television in English-speaking Canada and Al Arabiya in the Middle East.

Lucie Pastor and Fabienne Servan Schreiber serve as producers on the film.

Additionally, Zed is looking for pre-sales for Korn-Brzoza’s The Eagle and the Lion, a portrait of Adolf Hitler and Winston Churchill. Produced by Roche Productions, the doc is slated to air this fall on France 3. Channel partners so far include Discovery Networks International, Al Arabiya, N24, Radio Canada, Blue Ant Television, RTVE, VRT in Flemish-speaking Belgium and RTBF in French-speaking Belgium.
