Limp Bizkit’s Borland, DIY team for reno show

Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland has gone from nu-metal to home reno.

Scripps Networks Interactive-owned channel DIY Network has ordered Sight Unseen (pictured), a home renovation series set to feature Borland and Carré Callaway, his fiancée and fellow musician.

Produced by Magnetic Productions, the 6 x 30-minute series will follow the pair as they tackle the revitalization of a seven bedroom art deco mansion in Detroit, which was purchased by the couple after only viewing photographs of the property.

In the premiere episode, Borland and Callaway will come face to face with their new abode for the first time, where they discover varying degrees of water damage throughout the house. The renovation process begins in the master suite where they convert an adjoining bedroom into a 1920s-style dressing room.

Patrick BeedleAnna Campbell and Liz Kerrigan serve as executive producers on the series.

“Carpentry has always been a hobby and a passion of mine. I used to make skateboard ramps as a kid,” said Borland in a statement. “I felt adventurous reviving this house and, admittedly, I probably took every chance I could to kick in some walls.”
