Keshet Int’l names development head for LatAm

The Israeli producer-distributor has appointed Frank Scheuermann (pictured) to head up its development and production teams in Latin America as the firm looks to expand within the region.

Israeli producer-distributor Keshet International has appointed Frank Scheuermann (pictured) to head up its development and production teams in Latin America as the firm looks to expand within the region.

In the new position, Scheuermann will oversee Keshet’s development and production output within the LatAm region while also adapting the company’s original content catalog. He will report to Keshet’s recently promoted head of Latin America, Kelly Wright.

Most recently, Scheuermann served as head of light entertainment at Teleset, a Colombian production studio owned by Sony Pictures Television.

His executive producer credits include such international formats as Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Colombia’s Got Talent and The X Factor, as well as spin-off series The X Factor Kids and Celebrity X Factor for Colombia’s RCN Televisión.

“We’re thrilled to bring [Scheuermann] on board at a very busy period of growth for Keshet in the region, and we are looking to expand on our distribution model by offering additional creative services and production solutions to our clients across the region from the U.S. Hispanic to Argentina,” said Wright in a statement.
