Nippon TV appoints new int’l business development head

Japanese commercial broadcaster Nippon TV has appointed a new president for its international business development division, as its previous president moves into another role.

Atsushi Hatayama will take over from Yukiko Kimishima, who is heading to New York, in the role of president of Nippon TV International Corporation.

Based in Tokyo, Hatayama hails from Nippon TV’s news division, where he was most recently its EVP. In his new position, he will be tasked with strengthening relationships with overseas partners and bolstering Nippon TV’s international businesses, as well as establishing new ties in more countries for further business opportunities.

Hatayama will attend MIPCOM in the fall, representing Nippon TV.
