Endemol Shine Group taps Liberty Global exec as CFO

Endemol Shine Group has appointed European telecom exec Ivan Nash Vila (pictured) as chief financial officer. He will join the superindie this fall from cable and telecommunications company Liberty Global, where he has served as CFO for Central Europe for the past five years.

In that role, he has led financial operations and strategy for businesses in Austria, Switzerland and five countries in Central and Eastern Europe. He joined Liberty Global in 2005 when the company acquired Swiss cable operator Cablecom in 2005 and has held numerous senior management roles since then. Prior to that, he worked for Telefonica subsidiary 3G Mobile and Compaq.

He replaces Edwin van Es, who announced plans earlier this year to depart the CFO position this summer. Nash Vila will also join Endemol Shine’s board and work from the company’s Amsterdam headquarters.
