Iron Man actor Gwyneth Paltrow (pictured, left), musician will.i.am (right) and digital entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk have attached their names to tech competition series Planet of the Apps.

The three will join the program – which delves into the world of apps and the developers who create them for the tech giant’s iTunes App Store – as mentors and advisers to the selected developers.

Produced by Apple and Howard T. Owens and Ben Silverman‘s upstart content studio Propagate, the series is scheduled to premiere in 2017.

The two production houses have launched an open casting call in search of developers. Applications close August 26.

Paltrow and will.i.am will also serve as executive producers alongside Silverman and Owens. Craig Armstrong, Rick Ringbakk and Charles Wachter are showrunners and executive producers.

“As tech drives modern pop culture now more than ever, we are giving a platform for the next generation of culture makers to shine,” said will.i.am in a statement.  “We are searching for entrepreneurs with the vision to shape the future, solve real problems and inspire change within our daily lives.”
