Hip-hop power couple Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin are heading back to reality television with a new series and there’s a major question looming over their impending return: will they finally tie the knot?

The series, called “Jim & Chrissy: Vow or Never,” is set to premiere on Thursday, September 1 at 10:00 PM ET/PT on WE tv. Shot in Miami, the show will follow the couple, who have been together for more than a decade and engaged on and off for the last five years, as they finally decide to get married.

No good reality show is without its drama however, and “Jim & Chrissy” will have its fair share. While Jones suggests having their wedding aired on national TV, Lampkin begins to have serious doubts. And, with meddling friends, a longstanding family feud, Jones’ mother (who doesn’t approve of the union)¬†and the pressures of planning a wedding to worry about too, fireworks will ensue. Indeed, the series will start with Jones skipping out on the couple’s first appointment with the wedding planner to party.

“Jim & Chrissy: Vow or Never” is being produced for WE tv by Ish Entertainment, with Michael Hirschhorn, Melissa Cooper, Thomas Jaeger, Charles Suitt, and Jones and Lampkin serving as executive producers. Tracey Izatt will co-executive produce with Lauren P. Gellert and Suzanne Gladstone Murch serving as executive producers for WE tv.
