American cable net CNBC has set a late August premiere date for its forthcoming outdoor series Adventure Capitalists from 3 Ball Entertainment.

Hosted by adrenaline-seeking investors Dhani Jones, Jeremy Bloom and Craig Cooper, the 4 x 60-minute series will provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to test their recreational products in the great outdoors in the hopes of attaining financial support.

Products include an acoustic shark repellent, a collapsible toilet for camping and a three-wheel, all-terrain electric bike.

Each episode of the series will feature the Adventure Capitalists putting the products through extreme endurance testing to determine how well they stand up to Mother Nature. Contestants will trek through the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Mojave Desert, dive into shark-infested waters in the Bahamas and navigate the Redwood Coastal Forest in California.

3 Ball Entertainment’s Todd A. Nelson, DJ Nurre, Ross Weintraub and Grady Candler serve as executive producers alongside CNBC’s Jim Ackerman and Marshall Eisen.

Adventure Capitalists is scheduled to premiere across CNBC on August 22 at 10 p.m. EST/PST.
