UK commercial broadcaster ITV has set a late August premiere date for its forthcoming game show Spotless from ITV Studios-owned entertainment label Possessed.

The game show, which is slated to air on August 20 at 7:15 p.m. BST, will feature two couples competing in wet paint-covered games where they must remain “absolutely spotless” to win a cash prize.

High-tech, super-slow motion cameras will follow the action to allow viewers to spot every drop of paint.

After every game, the “Spotless Scanner” will determine the cleanliness of each competitor by using never-before-seen 3D scanning technology capable of detecting a dot of paint less than one millimeter in circumference.

Spotless was created by Simon Crossley and commissioned by ITV head of comedy entertainment Peter Davey. Possessed MD Glenn Hugill will executive produce the series alongside series producer Anna Dunkley.

ITV Studios Global Entertainment will distribute the format internationally.
