Electus Int’l sells crime docuseries into Australasia

Australia's Network Nine and New Zealand's Prime are the latest broadcasters to pick up The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey.

IAC-owned distributor Electus International has sent the forthcoming true crime docuseries from Los Angeles-based prodco Critical Content, The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey , to broadcasters across Australasia.

Australia’s Network Nine and New Zealand’s Prime have acquired the finished tape for the six-hour event set to reunite the original team of investigators that will re-examine evidence in the 20-year-old unsolved murder of Ramsey (pictured), a six-year-old beauty queen.

Electus has most recently sold the project to Global Television in Canada, who secured the Canadian simulcast rights to the docuseries that will air across CBS over three nights on September 18, September 19 and September 25.

Emmy-awarded Tom Forman serves as executive producer on the series.

Electus International will bring the project to the French Riviera this October for the 2016 edition of Cannes’ MIPCOM market.
