Dick Clark Productions has hired television production executive (and company alumnus) Tim Bock as SVP of production.

Bock (pictured) will be responsible for the company’s roster of shows, including American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, as well as a variety of other projects. He will be based out of the company’s Santa Monica headquarters and will report to COO and CFO Amy Thurlow.

Bock has more than 20 years of television production experience working with major networks and production teams in scripted, reality, variety, music, event, talk, sports and game show formats.

His “proven track record of negotiating, budgeting and executing with efficiency which will serve him well as we continue to grow,” said Thurlow in a statement.

The new role is a return to the beginning for Bock, whose first TV production role was as a production assistant at Dick Clark Productions. He most recently served as VP of production for ABC’s alternative series and specials department. Prior to that, he held a number of roles on productions for various broadcasters, including NBC, CBS, HBO, TNT and Warner Brothers Television.
